There was one collector on Mercari Jp who was really negotiating on all listings for the Fan Club Porygon, no matter which one, you could always see his comment for price reduction. For this listing, he negotiated to a much much lower price which the seller refused but agreed to a price somewhere in the middle. The person who was negotiating did not like the counter offer but left me with an opportunity to further negotiate and get the price lower down to what I feel was a fair amount to pay.
Very happy to finally add this card in my collection. I think it looks spectacular in hand and the holo also really pops up! Will break it open shortly so that it can take its rightful place in my Binder.

Another beautiful addition to my species collection.
For a long time, I wished I had never found out that TRR was also released in Portuguese. There was a listing in Europe for quite a while that I regretfully didn’t acquire, thinking, ‘I won’t start with that; I’ll stick to English and Japanese for my collection.’
However, when the card disappeared from the market, I was immensely frustrated and didn’t come across a new copy for years. I’m thrilled that a collector reached out to me when he was selling it for a Brazilian friend.

I love that response. I sometimes help with a kids Pokemon League and bring as many modern bling cards to trade as I can. All the kids are like, “Wow! How do you get all these?” My response is always “I’m a grown up!”
