My most expensive card related purchase was a green wing Charizard base set box for $750 AUD. As I’m typing this there’s a regular unlimited on ebay now at auction that’s already hit 1k AUD. Nostalgia is a powerful thing.

My most expensive was a duo of Crystal Charizards (one regular and one reverse) for $200 US. Both graded a PSA 10 though so I was pretty happy with them!

I paid almost £300 for a BGS 9 unlimited Chinese Charizard back when I first started getting Chinese cards…I since pulled my own unlimited and 1st edition…bit annoying!

I have been thinking hard. Highest I can remember for a single card is $325 on a PSA 9 error Ninetales, a few years back… feels like something is being overlooked.

Inverted WB Pikachu may have been more, but not by much
