I did notice on LP’s Twitter feed a list of New Year’s resolutions - one of which was a tease of his involvement in a “leading online collectible portfolio” or something like that, so maybe the box really does just contain a viral marketing gimmick for whatever that is.
When he did his 1st Base box opening stream, they had a guy nab the supposed “box” and smash it before revealing it was a fake, so no marketing stunt should be surprising

That might be alluding to VeVe, which he is invested in and recently leaked has a deal with Pokemon to make NFTs.

I’m curious if he will look closely at the boxes inside. I think he really needs to open it good and look hard just to put speculation to bed. It won’t hurt the value. He’ll he should open a box to check that too and seal it back up I think. More value if guaranteed real I say.
Just saw his interview on Instagram with Gary. I still can’t believe he made this purchase with so little effort to really check. No company should authenticate with so few examples to go off of… period. I think it’s just common sense. I still don’t know what about the box makes people think it is real. I would love to know and really hope it is.

Honestly, seeing them refer to the post about the case potentially being fake as a blog and not swearing very much, i was somewhat impressed. I think they were better spoken than i would have thought. They also werent afraid to ask questions, which i cant say about the others on the stream.
I just tried watching a video explaining what these island boys are. I don’t think boomer cuts it, I feel like an Edwardian coal miner about to apply for a job as a stoker on the Titanic.

This is my crazy tin-foil hat theory. They’re going to make a new fake 1st Ed case box that looks like the existing one Logan has, BBCE wrap and all, and put in Logan’s legit 1st Ed boxes that he already has. All to save face.
