I snapped off a Neo Discovery Tyranitar 1st edition in PSA 10 for $225.
I don’t remember why but I got curious about non-Charizard what PSA 10 cards cost and was pleasantly surprised to find they were very accessibly priced. Even back in early 2018 that felt very cheap for such a rare/iconic item

My first graded items were actually packs that I bought and graded myself, 1 Base Set and 1 1st Edition Team Rocket. They both got 10s and I still have them.

My first psa card was a psa 8 Dark Blastoise holo unlimited. I bought it off ebay for $35 Aud years ago. But I no longer own it due to getting a higher grade of the card.

My first PSA card(s) were 2 heavy 1st edition gym challenge packs I bought from TCAgaming a couple years ago (Lt. Surge’s Raichu and Brocks Ninetales). I decided to also open a heavy base unlimited pack I had and send the holo to him to also grade with the others. Pulled the Zard and it got a 10! Couldn’t have been happier. (The gym challenge holos didn’t do as well and got an 8 and a 9 ha.)

I love that card. I just did an all time high bid for the card and still lost to an even higher bid.

My first one was PSA 10 Aquapolis Crystal Kingdra for $95+shipping, still have it!
Before this I also grabbed BCCG graded trio of Neo 2 promo folder holos.

Skyridge umbreon holo psa 9 for 140 bucks from graded power- I was a raw only collector before that. I started buying psa 9’s to crack open at the start of 2018 since they were going for the same price as trollandtoad NMs at the time… good times.
