I’ve recently started playing Pokemon Go again and now I’m starting to realize how many shiny Pokemon either look indistinguishable or just flat out bad. I wish they would have made all of them really contrasting or even inverted colors from what they normally are.

I do like the concept of shiny Pokémon (too bad they killed the rarity nowadays), but I have to agree; Most shiny Pokémon could look way better when the designers actually took the time to re-color them. Some color combinations are just straight-up offensive.

Im wondering wtf happened to arcanine being a legendary. I know moltres replaced arcanine in the legendary trio but at the viridian city pokemon city the birds AND arcanine are there In the picture ash sees. Also wondered why they didnt just keep it as another legendary

If they had, wouldn’t that make him the only legendary with a pre-evolution? Or did they only add growlithe after removing him from the legendary list?
I think growlithe was an afterthought

I looked into Yamask for some creativ reasons: I needed to know which material I should use for the black parts of this Mon. What should the texture be - cloudy or solid or bandages like a mummy? Then I found an entry in the german Wikipedia (I couldn’t find this part scanning the english version) about Canopic jars:
“In the New Kingdom and the Third Intermediate Period, there is isolated evidence that the viscera were placed in a coffin as miniature mummies and only then interred in canopic jars. These resembled miniature mummies and could even wear a small mask.” 
I guess this is were Yamask originates.

I guess the black color originates from some very dark mummies.
So this is my “WTF” thing for today.
