What do you do with empty Pokemon Tins???

I’m moving within a few weeks and while I was packing, I realized that I have A LOT of empty Pokemon tins that I’ve opened over the years. I used to use them for card storage but now I just use the white storage boxes instead and have no need for these tins. I’m wondering what you guys do with them. Do you throw them away? Donate? Re-purpose them? I’m curious to know.

Leave them on my kitchen counter until they get in the way and then throw one or two away

give them to your LGS and they can fill them with bulk to sell

I give mine to random little kids at my LGS. I do the same thing with my bulk EXs/GXs/Vs.

I sold a 59 tin lot back in February for $55

I keep the Gyarados ones but then give the rest to my LGS.

stack them and make a poke tin fort! (or sell/donate/recycle)

I use them to store recent purchases that I haven’t put into binders yet. The extras I give to my younger brothers/friends if they ask.

I wish the tins weren’t awful for card storage. The concept is great but the execution isn’t there. Also thanks for the tip on dropping them off at the LGS. I like that idea and will do that

Sell them, better together with the code-card if you’re all out of chewing gum and kicking-ass.

I store my bulk in tins, they are actually quite good for that purpose. I’ve been doing that for yeeeears.

Edit: after reading some other responses I guess I should say: they are good enough for me.

Sometimes recycling, sometimes they hold a bit of bulk. I’ve found the best use is to give them to children, you can stuff them with a bunch of bulk, a few holos, and a junk V/GX/extra shiny card and make a kid’s whole week. Ask around at your local library or Pokemon League if you need help finding a child who needs cards.

Recently I was thinking of repurposing them for something other than holding either bulk or materials I would have lying around or disorganized in drawers.
They seem sturdy enough for diorama making if you have a crafts hobby on the side; otherwise the LGS is not a bad idea at all.

I still have tins from 20 years ago. May eventually have value?

I’m curious what it costs to ship 59 tins.

When they pile up again I´ll take them to the range and use them as shooting targets lol

The buyer paid $34.70. I think the box weighed between 20-25 pounds.

hoard them and them sell them when they hit the moon lol jk. I will probably use them as junk storage in the future.
