It’s harder to find a bad gengar art!

Call of Legends could’ve been an S-tier set if more of the non-SL cards looked like that.
First one is the Southern Island mew. This set got me started on the journey to collect promo cards. I absolutely adore this card. Not to mention the Charizord cameo as well.
Mew P-Promo P-033. Mew staring at the horizon with just stunning artwork from Hajime Kusajima. Beauty at its finest.
___'s Mew/013 Players Promo. Simple and yet so beautiful. Captures the innocence of the Pokemon.
Mew Ex 007/Play promo. My favorite card in the entire hobby. This one card just has everything that I need in the hobby. Just an awesome piece of art and I will be always bias to this card.
Cheers!
100% agree! The original fossil mew is solid as well, but mew has so many good cards!
There are so many good artworks of Mew! These two are absolute treasures and are - dare I say it - significantly underpriced.
My personal favorite Dragonite right here. It having error versions is also pretty sweet.
Both the rookie and the Delta Species are super nostalgic for me. The delta species one in particular was one of my favorite cards growing up. It really set in motion my love for ex era and delta species cards. Such a unique concept and it was done so well. The dual type cards were my favorite of the bunch.
The neo one is my favorite Ampharos art, but looking at these makes me appreciate the Pokémon a lot more. The scans really make the holo pop. TRR is my favorite ex set, and the ampharos in it is one of the best cards in the set imo.
I have a soft spot for Dusclops. I played the Ruby/Sapphire Pokémon pinball a ton as a kid, and I always struggled when I got to the Dusclops part. Still, the Pokémon and graveyard/ghost esthetic are great. This one in particular gives off a scary/creepy vibe for the Pokémon, a perfect match.
I feel ya on the lack of Torterra ultra rares I remember opening the Lv. X tin for Torterra and the other starters as a kid. The plasma storm one in particular I hadn’t seen before, but I love the cgi style they used for these cards. They remind me a lot of the cgi cards that were used in some of the DPP sets. CGI aint for everyone, but I love the stuff, at least from wotc-BW.
Now there is a card I need to have! So much going on there and such a variety of Pokémon included. Lots of gen 3 / gen 4 love which I like. Pikachu has so many good cards…
That Ken Sugimori Gengar is awesome with the giant moon behind him.
Agreed - those error versions are awesome. Still have to get my hands on one of them…
I am a sucker for Pokemon in the moonlight! Umbreon has some of the coolest moonlight artworks ever made.
Umbreon may have the highest quality card to total card ratio in the tcg ngl
For sure. Evolving Skies really boosted the Eeveelutions to new heights.
I might have to cancel my Patreon since I no longer trust your judgement after you left out expedition Blastoise, which is the goat. You also left out expedition Mewtwo from your previous post
