I loved the concept/setting and certain parts of Prometheus. David, Dr. Shaw, and Janek were all good. But it had one of the most infuriatingly stupid cast of characters. Whoever decided that making these supposedly elite level scientists into dribbling idiots who throw away all their, again, supposed expertise out the window as soon as they see something was an idiot. It severely hampered the movie.
Don’t force me to pick one, everyone has lots of great content.
Dead Silence
Ever since I saw this I’ve hated puppets ( not really ). Interesting movie with lots of twists, worth watching.
28 Days Later
A god’s gift to zombie movie scene. Honestly one of the scariest movies as brand new I can think of, fast moving berserkers instead of slow corpses was something unheard during early 2000’s. While the movie itself is very dark and apocalyptic I’m thinking soundtrack is actually beautiful, for example:
Haha thanks! I think I share a favorite with everyone who has posted so far, but these movies are the ones I can watch over and over and appreciate them more each time.
And you most certainly should have! And for the record, Muppets > CGI, always! (Not that it was an issue in the original Star Wars…but then Lucas lost his mind). So I think you know at least one shirt to pack to Worlds 2016, for the Muppet t-shirt picture that is now happening.
I have a lot of favorites (ranging from horror films, Disney animation films, Star Wars, Harry Potter to…well…Troma films…)so trying to narrow it down to 3 movies is a bit tough.
One film that always stands out as an absolute favorite though is Christine. Movie and novel both. I also found myself watching The Crow today and I forgot how much I loved that movie (as well as the series). *shrug*
