What are your 2025 collecting goals?

2024 goals:

-Complete English + Japanese Hoppip/Skiploom/Jumpluff species collection. I’m pretty much done with Japanese (missing one card, as far as I’m aware), and have mostly non-holos and reverses to fill out for English, which, admittedly, can probably be knocked out pretty fast with some dedicated time on TCGPlayer.

-I’m at roughly 50% completion on my reverse holo Expedition set. With a lot of rares left to acquire, I hope to reach maybe 75% completion by end of 2024?

-I’d like to attempt trading at some point (whether online or in person). I sometimes pick up random cards on Ebay if I can find/win them for below market price with the intention of building up a trade binder. I don’t mind having them sit around, as I could always sell them, but I like the idea of trading much more (in addition to the other benefit of avoiding a ~18% value loss due to selling fees).

Did pretty well with 2024 goals. I should be finishing my Hoppip/Skiploom/Jumpluff collection once I order a few code variants that I’ve put off for a long time And I’m pretty sure I met my 75% completion goal for my reverse Expedition set. Completed some trades this year too

For 2025, I think my goals would be:

• 90-100% completion for my reverse Expedition set
• Definitely need to organize my cards. Most of them sit in stacks and boxes right now. They should really go into proper binders.
• I did a few trades at one point this year, but then it kind of fell off. I’d like to try to put some more effort into trying to complete more trades in the upcoming year.
• Complete several art projects that have been sitting incomplete for probably 1+ years (two Pokemon-related, one not).
