What are the gym badge icons for?

So this is probably a really stupid question, but it’s bugging me so I just wanted to know what the little kanto gym badge icons mean under usernames? I just noticed that two have appeared under mine, and I don’t understand what theyre about :rofl:

Its just a reward for post count! Each one is a tier, 2,000 being Earth Badge. There is also an easter egg one for E4, like beating the Elite Four in the game, yes we are nerding that hard. Staff get it as a default, but a few members have hit the easter egg post count. :blush:

When you could beat the Kanto Elite Four under 12 hours on an emulator but have to spend 2 1/2 years just to beat Sabrina to get her badge on the forum. Real life Pokemon badge earning is hard.

*As for the Marsh Badge, Volcano Badge, and Earth Badge; don’t ask me how to get those. They’re held by milhouse , churlocker , and smpratte and the ‘favors’ they ask you to do are just sick, which is why I don’t have any badges from those bastards.*Where did that Volcano badge come from? :sweat:

wow just realized i have 4 badges. i am usually on mobile so do not notice.
