Hi!
Iāve been a PokĆ©mon fan since 1999 when I was six years old and PokĆ©mon started to appear in Sweden.
I learned a lot of English through playing PokƩmon Red which I got for my seventh birthday in 2000, which is when the Game Boy games came out on this side of the pond.
I never had a lot of cards as a kid but my brother and I were the only kids at school who actually bothered to learn the TCG.
Fast forward to around 2009 when, during a summer break, my brother and I started to get into the TCG again. We got to experience the latter half of the DPPt era and it was a lot of fun. I started collecting the unlimited base set on a super tight high school budget so I only got cards in pretty poor condition. No minty stuff. I then stopped playing the game in 2012 because of the power creep and the introduction of PokĆ©mon Catcher which wasnāt a fun card to play against.
Last year I started taking an interest in the cards again and started collecting the WotC stuff and the DPPt era decks. Then Logan Paul happened and prices started soaring even for unlimited cards. Quite surreal.
Iām nearing the completion of my unlimited base playset collection now. And Iām working on the rest of the WotC sets up to Neo Destiny.
I work as a teacher for a living.

Hi everyone!! New here and sooo excited!!! Love WOTC, for its nostalgia~ I know how cliche. However I am gaining more interest in Japanese cards as Scott has enlightened us all. I am still trying to learn the site. I was wondering about the badges and how they work?

Badges are very special and can only be earned if the mods give them to you. If you want the rainbow badge you have to own 3 trophies. Welcome to the forum

Be welcome! As for the badges, here is a link, some badges are harder than others, but when you see someone with a lot of badges, think about what they had to doā¦

Hi everyone!
Been passively aware of this board for a while, but finally decided to get involved. Been a collector since I was a young blood in the 90ās and over the past year dug my collection out from under my bed to realize that I kept fantastic care of most of them. Really excited to get my WoTC singles back from PSAā¦ Hopefully soon. But anyway, Iām interested in learning more about this community and PWCC and everything else related. Seems fascinating!
