It’s nice to see that it’s not just going to be megas introduced in Kalos since Mega Latias is there. I was wondering if it was going to gravitate closely to PLZA.

I’m eargerly hoping there’s an announcement for Mega Glalie…

(Thank you for the continued coverage as always koala )

I believe that will be saved for after PLZA is released on October 16. Sets before will just focus on bringing back existing Mega Pokémon

Mega Spinner should release after, assuming Greninja will get a new Mega [ex]

Damn, this is going to be much better than I thought it would. Guess hype will not be dying down!

What a bonkers set straight off the rip. I am so hyped for Mega ex to come back! Feels like we’re back in XY after 10 years!!

Is M Rayquaza confirmed?

Rayquaza is a set mascot Pokémon like Umbreon/Charizard/Pikachu, if anything it might have a set of its own in the future (maybe next year)

While i’ve decided not to collect every set after SV is done as that was a slog and a half. This one looks very tempting to be one of the ones I do.

Is it just me or do those yellow letters with black outlines on the Megas look super amazing? Is this a first or have we had yellow lettered Pokémon names before?

Either way we’re really looking forward to the debut of this new era for the TCG!

Was going to discount this set until I remembered that Mawile has a mega, now I have no choice but to wait for every new post in anticipation for the two horned cave dweller.

Any other players here excited to finally have proper full art Item cards? It will make searching them out in the deck so much easier with the nice backgrounds unlike all the gold cards which look the same.

Only slightly disappointed they just copy and pasted the art across. I really miss these “alt art” style promos we got a while back.

Praying for the return of Mega Slowbro :folded_hands: thank you for this post @koala !

The art should have been alt art like the one you posted.

This plague of CGI model on non-existent background has to end.

I speculate that in doing so they will end UR/gold cards and have a new highest tier rarity focus solely on the set mascot Pokémon. VSTAR Universe introduced Art Rares and Special Art Rares so Scarlet & Violet continue them, perhaps Black Bolt & White Flare’s BWR rarity might indicate something similar for the MEGA era e.g. MEGA Rare (MR Mega Lucario ex, MR Mega Gardevoir ex)
