The card has two major creases, someone folded it both ways. But it is in otherwise descent condition.

I think Iā€™ve seen that one before on ebay right? I mean to me I would maybe pay around $15 for it I guess, I donā€™t think with that much wear it will ever be worth much more but it seems like charizards have been skyrocketing in price lately so I guess whatever you feel its worth but still I personally wouldnā€™t pay much more than $15 maybe $20 if I was drunk lol

Haha I meant no water damage or peeling. I figured it would be a bit more than $15 since it was one of the first pokemon cards printed and a Charizard. 1st edition base english charizards seem to go high even when in poor condition, but what do I knowā€¦ thatā€™s why I asked the experts! I paid $25 :sob: but Iā€™ve made some really good purchases recently so I donā€™t feel too bad.

You could send it to PSA for an ā€œauthenticā€ designation. That could up your value quite a bit:)

Iā€™d go for straight grading and get that PSA 1 POOR personally. Usually lower population than the 10ā€™s! :grin:

Yea good idea on the PSA authenticating or the 1 Poor now you just need to find the PSA 2 through 10 for the ultimate no rarity charizard set! :grin:

I would say a good price for any psa authenticated no rarity holo would be around Ā£20-30 for non starters and like Ā£40-50 for venu/blas and then like Ā£40-60 for zards. I am going for an authenticated holo set soon and that is roughly what I would be willing to pay for each one. I think @smpratte has sold a couple of authā€™d holos as I vaguely remember him having a machamp listed so maybe he could chime in.

No Rarity zard will probably sell in the $100ā€™s if authenticated by psa.

@smpratte even a heavily damaged one? dang. is it the same price to authenticate as it is to grade?

I have personally only sold one authenticated copy. Mine was not severely creased, so perhaps that will make a difference. And yes authentication only is the same cost as grading.

Iā€™ve been watching them for quite awhile. The least I would want for an authenticated copy is $90 (with maybe a $110-120 buy-it-now asking price). There were several that were trending around $65-$80 over the span of 2014-2015 but nowadays they are becoming a bit more difficult to find.
