So I recently managed to get my hands on 2 sealed boxes of 10 Tempest Gift Boxes from a container a chap bought over 15 years ago!
Out of curiosity I opened 1 box to check contents and as I read online it comes with the Tempest Theme Deck, Pikachu Metal Coin & Bag, Play mat & Three Booster packs (Base, Jungle & Fossil).
I paid £990 = $1300. Problem is I havnt been able to find a single one online apart from the US Thunderstorm Gift set that had a mix of packs from rocket, Base 2 & Gym Ect…
Im planning to keep them as they look so cool and are a rare item to find but im wondering what peoples thoughts are on the value.
So you paid $65 each? I think that’s a great price. There’s definitely more value there than the thunderstorm ones that go for $100. The base packs alone pretty much cover your costs.
I would happily buy one if you ever decide to sell. I’m looking for something to open that hasn’t been searched.

Im not planning on selling them yet purely because its an awesome addition to my collection but your top of the list for when I do ever come to sell them!
Its hard to find an idea of price because judging on the cost of the theme decks and packs alone its near the £100.
But as a sealed box, does it really add that much more value?
I hate to be a let down but i will be keeping them for sometime. I will say when I do come to sell them (Im guessing in the next 3 years to fund buying a house) I will send you all a direct message on here so you can get one.
I would also swap one or do some sort of deal at any point for a Pokemon Web Sealed Booster.
I’ve been after one for a while, they’re hard to find compared to the thunderstorm gift boxes, the majority I’ve seen for sale are located in the UK, I would put a value of less than $250 USD on them though

Managed to get my hands on a sealed southern island set aswell. Does anyone know what boosters came in the folder? Are they preset or randomly inserted?
