V600 Epson Perfect Photo Scanner HELP!!!

Good afternoon all!

I was looking for some assistance, we are a UK graded Pokemon card seller on eBay. We have invested in a new scanner but my lack of knowledge and IT skills is preventing me from getting the best results.

The front of the card is great but the back PSA logo on the top left is dark and non reflective.

Any advice appreciated, I have a deadline to get this right…

Thanks in advance.

I don’t have a v600 scanner myself, but I’ve heard from @pkmnflyingmaster before that the google-drive link mentioned in this post is very useful:

This is a problem inherent with scanners in general. Since the light is only being emitted from from essentially one direction, reflective items cannot be fully captured. It’s the same reason you only get one perspective of the holo pattern while scanning.

If you really want some reflection from the PSA label, you can try to put a coin under the edge of one side of the plastic so the slab is on a slight angle relative to the scanner bed

@pkmnflyingmaster, I love the guide. I understand everything you’re saying.

Can you help me set a default setting to maximise the scan quality for Pokemon Card eBay listings?

I really am useless when it comes to these things lol.

I just purchased a renewed v600 from Amazon. Looking forward to getting it and will check back with you guys to let you know how it goes.
