v2_Value of Gentleman Pikachu Pokemon Center Tokyo DX Psa10

what’s eetswa y’all, made a post abt this but impatient for answers so fk the discussion, should i pay around USD260 for a psa 10 gentlemanly pika promo? if not pls suggest a much more realistic price so i don’t overpay cheers x

haha, buy it.

yes

u liking the price?

It’s not relevant if anyone else likes the price. If you want the card and the seller is offering it for a price you’re willing to and can afford to pay, then buy it.

If what you’re really asking is “is this a good price to buy this card so I can make money on it in the future cos St0Nkz?” then my answer would be none of us have a crystal ball… apart from Scott and Gary that is, I’m still convinced there’s some wizard shit going on there.

HAHAHAH stonks way😈 but nothing like that champ settle down mr trUe cOlleCtor HAHAHAHAH xo i been obsessed wit this card for time (and too many other JP promos and trophies lol) so will be holding on to this and prolly sleeping wit it beside me😳 as such the price recessing in the future doesn’t concern me at all (although who would be slightly saddened if their $200 card drops to like fkn $5 lmaoo) but like almost everyone i’m not too keen to pay way over what the true current market value is for a product that’s just dumb; if i can purchase the card at a later time due to educated guesses that the prices are likely to fall then, who wouldn’t wait for that price (although yeh no one can state wit absolute certainty).
also seriously doubt anyone is looking at a fkn modern JP card like this for a future flip fkn lmao

@bigfknpapa Cool, then if that’s a price you’re happy to pay I would go for it! But what do you mean by “true current market value”? Do you mean a price you personally think is right for a card? Market value is determined by the demand, i.e. what the majority of people who buy any given card actually pay for that card. Look at sold prices. If there is a lack of recent sold prices as in this case, the price you are willing to pay is your only metric. As many on here will tell you, sure you can hold off buying if you think prices will fall and you’ll get a better deal in the future, but how would you feel if it did the opposite and suddenly that PSA 10 Pikachu is now $500 when you had the opportunity to buy it for 260? It’s simply something that we all have to weigh up whenever we buy any PTCG product. If as you say that card will never leave your side then does it really matter what its price does once you’ve bought it?

I like it as much as any other price. The information you presented shows that there is not a huge amount of transactions for this card, that´s why no one can tell you what “current market value” is. Whatever feels right, go for it.

@bigfknpapa, if you already have a thread asking the same question please do not make another. A price check is fine on its own, but if you want to ask about possible market trends please do this in the Giant Market Thread as I already warned you about.
