Using Probstein to Sell

Hi All! Has anyone sold using Probstein consignment? Sounds like you just ship all your items with your contact info? Does that include your banking info too for payment? Any other feedback from the service?

As a seller I just see the highest auctions ending for him. With only 5% fees it looks the most attractive.

It is attractive. Though it would be cool to boycott Probstein because he is a confirmed shiller

ZnG offers a similar service and rates
All you have to do is mail him your cards with a note inside with your email.

Taking a look. Thanks!

Probstein’s whole business is built on consigning. Hes legit. I hear he is somewhat lacking in communication though. There are other options who dont shyll like ZnG, but ultimately it depends on what you are wanting as a consignee.

Dont feel pressured by the comments to avoid him, just dont expect people to pat your back or give you a high five :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Is Z&G the main competitor in terms of fees? Any other big co-signers with 5-7% fees. My items will be around 2K sealed product

If it’s sealed then Probstein might be your only option

I will be able to process sealed product soon, just waiting for the green light from fanatics. However no one can touch probatein fees. And I don’t think any other consigner does sealed.

I don’t plan on selling during at least the next three months. Just trying to get my information together. So looks like fanatics would be 100% of hammer price + 6% of the seller bonus for a 2K item. Am I reading that correctly?

Correct!

if your item has a card ladder price around 2k try the BIN marketplace for less fees

How does Fanatics determine market value? Any idea on if it’s accurate?

You can set prices but their bin sales are slow.

I highly recommend dagreenshiz. Silly name but does a great job and accepts sealed product.
