UPS Lost my parcel - what now?

Bit of an annoying situation, I got a delivered notification from UPS to say that my package had been delivered on Tuesday at 4:48pm. The package definitely didn’t come, it was THICK snow that day, we had no deliveries and we also live on a private road and were outside the property at that time.

At that time, I thought oh well maybe it’ll come tomorrow. Nope, no sign of it. I raised a claim with UPS this morning and they have sent me the following PDF/letter via email which basically says:

"We regret that your shipment with UPS was lost or damaged. In order to expedite the processing of a

claim, please promptly submit the required shipment information listed below. A barcoded Bill to UPS

form is attached for your convenience".

So, I paid for this item via PayPal G&S (NOT eBay) and the seller marked down the value (this was something he actually suggested).

Now, do I file a claim with PayPal G&S and attach the UPS letter? Or don’t I have a chance?

I can’t speak to PayPal G&S, other than it may complicate things. But depending upon your relationship to the seller, they may provide a refund if you provide documentation of the lost package.

If they don’t certainly reach out to PayPal. If you use a credit card for PayPal you can try reaching out to them. And if all else fails UPS should be liable. They did cause the mess, of course.

Best of Luck

Sorry to hear that Matt! Hope you find it
