I’m glad as well. I’m going to take it back to the post office and see if they’ll credit me the shipping cost. Tbey should considering they not only failed to deliver my package but also damaged it

They owe it to you.

With that said. Good Luck

Geezus man. At least there is a silver lining at the end. Glad nothing was stolen but so sorry you had to go through that anxiety!!!

Good luck with that. Exact same thing happened to me, courtesy of USPS. I lodged a complaint and months later… Nothing.

Technically they didn’t fail to deliver either, PSA just refused your package.

Glad it all worked out. I will now pray to the sun god that those ex cards you need will be PSA 10

Even if they do allow you to reuse the same postage… crank up that insurance!

Definitely think about taping around all sides. When I have a box over $1k I throw about $2 worth of tape on the outside of it. My own little insurance policy. I think it goes along way as (high quality) packing tape won’t tend to tear the same way cardboard can.

TAPE??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Just kidding lol. Yes tape all around the outside especially f you can find that secure tape PSA uses on the outside of their packages…with the string in the tape. Those cant be ripped.

Thank Our honorable president er…God, that nothing was missing or even damaged. Congrats;)

the tape your thinking is called filament tape. It’s expensive but I’ll pick some up. I’ll take your advice and add it to this package. The damage to the outside and tbe crushed box inside being tbe psa cards was all luck that nothing was damaged.

This is good news. I will be extra particular here forward about my method of shipping such items. Paranoid in the best way possible. Haha

I got complacent. It could have happened to more valuable submission but it didn’t. I’ll be on my game from now on.

That is correct. Each piece of mail is indeed photographed at every stage. So, the postal service can determine exactly when and where
@hisoka107’s package was opened/damaged.

Unfortunately, that won’t help recover any more than the $500 in insurance that was purchased, and it is also unlikely to pinpoint the culprit.

Nevertheless, don’t give up on it. If your local post office won’t assist, contact the Office of the Consumer Advocate for the USPS in Washington, D.C. They WILL respond, and I have found that they are quite good at getting to the bottom of matters such as this.
