Yeah that’s me. You can reach a lot of people on E4 and most everyone is helpful. Im probably one of the least helpful people on here as I get on for only a few minutes each day. You would be surprised at how open everyone in the community is to get you where you want to go in the hobby.

You have your whole life ahead of you! No need to consider any goals as impossible especially if you are not grade specific. I’d start by prioritizing your long term financial future so you can feel more comfortable one day spending so much on one card.

I think like everyone has said, just be patient and continue to save up the money. Buying a low graded one isnt a bad imo. Probably better than finding a raw one. I’d just make it a longterm goal for 2021 and stay patient and remember your goal every time you make a different purchase.

Agree with this post - you will get there bud. Lots of 1st edition zards up for auction by PWCC ending Monday night with the lowest being a psa 4. It looks like even the 4s should top 5k. What is your budget?

@chewy,

I heard ebirdman has one graded “Authentic” for 5,000.00. It’s stamp is half scratched off but still guaranteed real. You can reach him at ebirdman102@aol.com

@chewy, all it takes is finding the right listing. This auction ended 3 days ago, there’ll be more like it

The seller didn’t sell the card because the price was too low.

If you pay for the item and then the seller cancels he’s out the eBay + Paypal fees and open to a negative feedback. Most sellers won’t take that hit and just accept the auction’s result.
Patience is key, the listing goes to show opportunities are out there for cheaper copies.

Yes the seller is open to negative feedback for sure but this has happened to me multiple times. Some are too cheap to put in a reserve for their auction it’s pretty annoying.

Is this actually true now about the fees? I feel like eBay and PayPal refund the fees. From
What I’ve seen

If you select buyer asked to cancel I’m pretty sure you don’t have eBay fees. There’s PayPal fees no matter what though

When I have returns, it looks like I get all my money back. Maybe I’m looking at it wrong

The Paypal fees are gone the moment you receive the money, there is no way to get a refund on these ever.
As for eBay fees there are a few ways around it but it’s not always guaranteed.
The seller also can’t avoid the negative feedback once you’ve paid, even if he refunds.
