They were down to 1 customer service person across the company during November, that is what that same Adam guy in the email told me. Guessing his one and only job was to reply to emails with the same 3 generic emails based on the situation.

Itâs been almost a month since TnT paused their buylist. I sent my final buylist a day before they paused it, they received it a few days later, and processed it within a day of receiving. Itâs still at payment pending, which is expected. They probably have 0 staff dedicated to incoming buylist orders at this point, since all should have been wrapped up by now.
I was browsing around to check their inventory levels of stuff. Inventory has gotten so low itâs crazy. Even the Charizard UPC I mentioned 17 days ago - there was something like 40 in stock and now those are gone. I have no idea what someone would spend store credit on right now. Gotta get creative and find some underpriced stuff to get your money back.

Dan mentioned on his recent live that people should expect progress on buylist stuff/payments from T&T in the coming days/weeks. Apparently they had a glitch in their system that marked all buylist orders as paid and needed to manually go through all of them to sort it out.
Those charizard UPCâs were also danâs I believe and he may have pulled them from what I remember, not entirely sure on that though.

Can anyone confirm if theyve had pending buylists/evo balances paid? I was told (on good authority) that it was a tedious, manual prcoess but was in the works and expected to be completed soon. My $30k+ outstanding balance at the time was paid.

2024 - 2 August, 1 September, and 1 October finally got paid after tons of emails and filing with the BBB around New Years.
After finally getting paid I sent in one early January 2025, was processed right away, and still pending payment
Awaiting buylist again so I can dump all these non textured illustration rares for more than alt arts

I have a buylist that is over 30 days and still listed as âarrived at TrollandToadâ not even processed. Tried reaching out but have heard nothing.
Troll and Toad sent an email yesterday saying they expect all buylist payments to be sent out by the end of February. I have three small overdue buylist payments that go back as far as September. Theyâve really done a poor job of communicating.

I got my latest buylist paid within 6-7 weeks this time, so they are improving on payment times.
I noticed today they have some items on the buylist. It is actually a lot of Japanese and foreign language promos. A few years ago they shut down Japanese and Magic. Maybe they are bringing everything back this time around.
I am guessing the buylist isnât fully rolled out yet. Not much for English, if any

Still waiting on 3 submissions from as long ago as September. So their payment process still sucks.
Yup, BBB is the only way to get paid from August and September buylists. In their system they are all marked as paid

Has something changed with Troll and Toad?
I hadnât actually checked their site sinceâŠprobably 6 months or so, but I just noticed today the person who ran their Discord rebranded it 3 months ago to their own personal Discord. There was a message that she along with others were laid off in January and alluded to higher ups fucking up.
Then when checking their website, I notice that there is no dropdown link to Prismatic Evolutions which has also been out for 3 months which seems like a pretty big oversight.

Lots of changes, including management or ownership.
They dropped the ball on payments for buylists, paused their buylist, have next to nothing for inventory, and apparently are moving locations.
I predict they wonât come back strong from all this down time. They missed the boat on the boom as this bubble will pop in 3 months

A boom like this should be a godsend for a company like trollandtoad. They should be making money hand over fist.
