Don't Sell to Troll and Toad if you are Expecting a Check

I currently have 4 Buylist orders that are confirmed - pending payment, with 2 of them dating back to August 2024. Their customer support staff was completely worthless, stating their staff is gutted and are trying to figure out how to send out checks now.

I was about to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but saw they already have hundreds of complaints for the same situation in the past few months. It appears store credit and paypal payouts are still happening, but they charge paypal fees, so I always preferred the check.

I’ve got 3 Buylist orders going back to September that haven’t been paid. I was told the company is being sold and the payments would return to normal sometime after the first of the year. Will believe it when I see it.

Ideally it happens in 2024 so taxes are in the appropriate year

I asked to speak to someone else, this is their reply. Sounds like next year payments will start again.

I hope they meant to say ‘only one available right now’ due to the holiday season instead of just period… Because a single person working in CS sounds like a great idea for a company… /s

Also sounds like the same kind of company that has 3+ managers doing everything but their job tbh, haha. But I’m stereotyping now. :person_shrugging:

Lots of companies are cutting middle management or never re-staffed after covid.

Honestly, I’m not surprised, but still dismayed to hear this. I’ve not sold to TnT for years for various reasons, but I hope it gets sorted fast, everyone who has.

I also wonder, was there a terms of payment in the sale contract with TnT?
It’s honestly a toss-up as to whether there is or not, but if there IS, there’s certainly legal grounds for compensation if they’re not holding up their end. If this single CSR is also the only one, they are clearly not doing their best to fulfill the contract, either. I mean, we’re not talking a mom n pop shop here.
