Totodile & Darkrai Master Set List Help

Hello everyone!!! :waving_hand:

This is my first post on here so please be kind if I do something incorrect.

I am trying to collect every single English print of both Totodile & Darkrai but I’m not sure how to look up every single card for those Pokemon. I managed to find one for Totodile but it was a little outdated so I updated it but I’m unsure if I did it correctly.

If anyone could help me out with these two lists that would be greatly appreciated!!

(Also below is a list of all the Totodile cards that I have on my current list, so please let me know if I am missing anything on it)

hi! a fellow species master set collecting friend linked me to your post as I’m collecting every English Darkrai card! made an account just to help you out.

two great resources I use are the Dex app (iOS only for now, Android & Web coming soon) and www.pkmn.gg to double check off of that.

that being said, here’s a spreadsheet I made to track my progress of every English Darkrai card if you want a quick glance at what all is out there. (note: the contents of this spreadsheet I made but the design of it was made by a mutual named Ranch!)

the card people usually miss (and often times even intentionally skip) is the non-foil variant of the DP24 promo, as it was European only and usually requires a middle person to help obtain it if you’re located in the US.

note that if you’re collecting outside of English, the hunt gets a lot harder to figure out all variants of all cards that exist. I have a lot of friends who spent a lot of hours making their all-language spreadsheets!

Variants are per card though it doesn’t go into the codes for those EX sets.

If you want to torture yourself, there are also matchprints for the Expedition Totodiles.

by “match prints” do you mean the serial codes for those cards?

Oops, I’m mistaken. I thought there were matchprints for all Expedition cards, but not all the commons have publicly known matchprints, and both Totodiles are missing.

You can read more about the matchprints here, and there are probably some forum threads about them too.

First time hearing about matchprints and they are quite interesting. If totodile had any, I would most likely not get them.

I’m with you. I’m a Hoppip collector, and I just treat them as sonething interesting to know about. Definitely outside of my budget for my collection!
