toploaders + pages

Hey guys!

I’m looking into getting a bunch of toploaders, thinking maybe 150-200 (looking to top load the original 151). Does anyone have any recommendations - I’m in Australia if that helps.

Also, I’m finding alot of my ultra pro pages are warping. So, I’m looking into toploader binders. Two things that are putting me off however

  • price
  • I haven’t found any 9 pocket top loader pages

Help a brother out

Cheapest way in aus is to search ebay and buy in quantities of 100-200.

can’t help with the pages though never used them although ur cards shouldn’t be warping too much… do u have holos back to back? Ive found tgat can help

hey thanks for the reply!
Its more that the bottom left pocket, the way it sits maybe with the spine causes the corner to bend upwards.

Also, what do people think of ultra pro or monster binders? they look alright :S

You probably won’t find 9 pocket top loader binders, as they would be huge.

There is a guy in Aus who sells the regular 2x2 top loader binders but they are expensive in my eyes ($50 for the binder and 20 pages iirc).

I personally now use the Ultimate Guard binders and prefer the 4 pocket to a page side loading zip binder.

I use a monster binder and I really like it. Side loading binders all the way

Monster Binders are nice however in my experience with them, when you fill them up the pages arch and warp which concerns me. I put my cards in sleeves and then into the binder.

I personally recommend the 9 pocket binder by Ultra Pro! They fit all 360 cards very well and comfortable!

Hey those look great! I’m really into them
Can you put cards back to back?

Also, do you find any warping occurs?

Also, do you fit the cards into penny sleeve first and then the pages? Or is just card straight into pocket.

Thanks!!

Which city are you in?

Sydney

Also, I really appreciate the photos! Helps so much

I haven’t noticed any warping as in bending in cards while they are in the folder. However I always have my cards in sleeves and then place them into the folder.

I personally always sleeve my cards. I use the ultra pro Dex protectors sleeves 66mm X 91mm

That’s gorgeous. Almost definitely making a purchase tomorrow.
Incredible, thank you

No local Hobby/General TCG/Collectible shops in the Sydney CBD?

Hehe I am the same!! Ultra pro ftw! I love these leather ish binders… They are so smooth and soft…

I bought all my binders in Sydney.

You know gametraders?? You can maybe negotiate with them if you buy alot.

For me… I was buying 10 binders from America and the weight was too ezepnsice… So I had to try talk down gametraders To give me a good rate.

2 cheapest methods for me generally is:

  1. Ebay.com import from the USA or China.
  2. Haggle with gametraders in aus. ( I’m no endorsing them for anything else… I hate there prices on games. It’s ridiculous. Just binders were reasonable.

There are a couple. I’m fairly new to collecting poke cards so I’m lacking in knowledge at the moment to be honest.
I’ve also found that eBay is more or less the same price in the end, especially if it’s free shipping.

:s

Good idea though, might try make a couple of calls tomorrow

Oooo! Going to bed but I’ll check that out a aswell tomorrow. It’s going to be a big day haha

Parramatta gave me the cheapest rate in the state. But… Do look around, you might catch good deals elsewhere

Here is a good video on the subject!
All featured binders fir Pokemon very well!

Also if you want to be Ultra fancy and swish there is the 9 pocket Legion Elder dragon Binders that look Sick. I dont own one but they do exist!
