Poliwhirl’s kind of news to me too, haven’t really pinned down a favourite before using this picker.

As for Jumpluff, I’ve always liked it since getting the Neo Genesis Jumpluff when I was young. I like that it’s all circles

Interesting result. Quadruped might be popular because it reminds me of normal pets, and bipedal and tailed might be popular because it’s the most stereotypical form for monsters.
So going just by the numbers, my favorite Pokemon would be a quadruped or bipedal+tailed Psychic type from Gen 2. So… **Espeon and Slowking?**Of course we all know that’s nonsense and Umbreon is still the best Pokemon by far.

This was harder than I thought as well:

Biggest upset is Eldegoss somehow not only making it in, but beating old-school favorites 9 through 12. I had expected both Tyranitar and Rayquaza to make this list, though.

I thought I loved Dragapult and Corviknight (especially since Crows are my favorite animal) more from the current gen, but all I could think about was how I met Eldegoss in Sword & Shield and how I love it’s design. It reminds me so much of why I’ve always enjoyed grass type designs like Jumpluff, Oddish, and Bellossom. Eldegoss adds that same level of cuteness with a dash of cool with it’s cloak-like body.

@papafrankgod, I have always loved Venonat’s design. I have a side collection that I don’t regularly upkeep but Venonat is part of it for sure. Probably why I like Kuriboh’s design in Yugioh. XD They share a lot of similarities.

Also, Jumpluff’s entire evolution has a perfect design from a grass-type lens in my opinion.

Almost all of these were completely expected. I was surprised that some slightly usurped others. Most significant surprises for me were Cubone even coming close to the Top 12–I never really thought of myself as a “Cubone guy” before this–and Noctowl making the cut, who I’ve always liked but not really thought of liking it relative to my other favorite Pokemon.
