By the way, the Chinese randomized deck doesn’t contain Voltorb (it has a Pikachu, however), so I’ll be purchasing the Chinese cards this week. I have Indonesian coming hopefully midway through July and as soon as Brasil lifts restrictions for the US, I’ll have my Portuguese cards sent as well. It’s getting so close! Oh, and I’ll change my signature haha
Edit: Ugh, I went to buy the Chinese cards and of course the shiny Electrode GX just went out of stock… Guess I’ll be looking for that one now.

Took some time to get the last one in the mail (ironically it was the first one released), but I’m the proud owner of all three Professor Program Voltorb variants!
The cosmo foil version is my new holy grail card. I was able to acquire it though pure luck back in the summer and I’m desperately hoping this is the only version of this card ever released.
My latest package also contained a bunch of other cards and I’m now only 4 Voltorbs and 3 Electrodes short of 100 percent!

Welcome back. Thank you for bumping the thread because I got to read through and witness your awesome collection. It was really amazing to read some of your earlier posts, although sadly the older picture links do not work for me.

I too went through the whole thread after the bump and it was thrilling to see your posts about stuff like the unlimited L3 trio after all those years, people complaining about not finding some cards after weeks or few months know nothing about that kind of dedication 
and congrats about the latest additions, those are indeed massive ones! Also out of curiosity, if you don’t mind sharing what are those 7 cards you are still missing? I’m also interested in hearing if you managed to complete your wotc collection or get those psa 10 base 1st ed voltorb and electrode even though the pandemic hit shortly after you writing about them and the prices went nuts

Oh yeah those L3 cards were the bane of my existence haha I feel for the people who are still searching for them. Although, I still think the unlimited Base Korean ones are far rarer.
I did end up completing my WOTC collection, at least to the point where I’m happy. I didn’t bother with miscellaneous promos and box toppers. Just the main sets and the numbered promos. For the PSA10 cards, they did jump in price so I ended up getting Japanese 151 I think. I don’t remember the exact cards, but they were cheap and the foil on them looks pretty.
Aside from a few Chinese cards in the mail, I’m missing 4 Voltorb and 3 Electrode cards from the Spanish Battle Academy 2024 deck. It’s for sale in a bunch of places, but they either don’t ship internationally, or they won’t break down the box so I’d have to pay too much for shipping. I might end up doing that anyway, but I’m still waiting to see what I can find.
There are also several other cards that some may consider essential for a collection such as mine, including the Korean VSTAR Universe Voltorb and Electrode with the Pokeball reverse holo. Or the thin stamp Base Set cards. Or even the White Border Jungle Wlectrode and Prototype cards. But my “collection constitution” omits any errors not born of the design process or test cards. I would absolutely add them if I had the chance though (except maybe the thin stamps)
