Tomo Sakurai was a Japanese voice actress known for being the voice of Cynthia in the Pokémon anime. She has passed away after a fight against multi-organ cancer and symptoms worsened.

I didnt know her work but being such a large well loved character means she probably did justice to the character. At least her voice will live on. Thats a terrible thing to suffer through and I hope she has found peace.
