Obviously I didn’t know her personally, but her performances in Pokemon will forever be in my memory. Thanking her for all the hours of joy she provided.

I didn’t realize that she played both Misty and Jessie. If my math is right she would have only been about 19 years old when she started voicing them which is quite impressive. She gave a lot of life and personality to those characters. 46 is way too young

When I had the chance to get some autographs (or pick up the 3 Team Rockets signed by the VA’s right as pokemon got popular) it was a no brainer.
While Raichu is my favourite pokemon, having these autos and others is tied for pride of place in my collection. So many great memories of Misty and Jessie over the time I was hooked on the show as a kid and such an iconic set of roles.
This is horrible news. Far too young. Fuck cancer.

So sad, the best die young. Despite it being so many years ago, I can still hear her voice in my head from watching Pokemon on YTV as a kid. She was also the voice of Jigglypuff, my sister’s favourite Pokemon. Her impact on us fans will not be forgotten.
Always remember friends, this life we live is truly a treasure. Make it one of adventure, love and joy where you can bring happiness & joy not only to yourself, but also others, just as Rachael did.
I will pray for her & her family, that she has the most peaceful rest

What a bummer. I only just started watching the anime a few weeks ago since finding the first season at Walmart. Never would’ve guessed Misty and Jessie were voiced by the same actress. Clearly a talented woman.
