What do you guys think about the somewhat new-ish prerelease kits? Are they worth the price? Are the promos cool/collectable? Do you think the sealed kits themselves will gain value over the years? Personally I really like them as I just can’t keep up with the amount of new product. As much as I’d like to buy a box of each new set for my sealed collection, my wallet can’t take the abuse and I think these are a nice little alternative to have.
There was never any great demand for prerelease promos until evolutions, and I think current/future prerelease promos will not be a great investment if you want to make money but if you think they are cool and want them for your own collection you can still get them.

I always buy one then buy the remaining three promos. You can usually get pre-release kits at the time of pre-release for $18-20. The promos are always a minimum of $5 and more if a particular is playable, so that leave you about $15 for 4 packs. Some of the older pre-release kits have gone up in price quite a bit. They look cool and are very small so take up little space so if you like them go for it.
Are the promos cool/collectable?
Yes, generally the four stamped cards looks really good if you put them in a binder. “Staff” version ar pointless imho

No way, except maybe evolutions. I would spend my money differently tbh
Why buy sneak peek kits when I can buy loose WotC boosters?
Not trying to be facetious but they’re in the same price range and much older.
