I don’t go out of my way to collect them but have had a few gifted to me from a friend. I did buy a Rockets Scizor best promo off another friend several months ago as it looked cool. Oh I also have obtained the three detective pikachu jumbos Charizard, greninja and mewtwo that came in the boxes.
Just recently bought some of those ultra pro photo toploaders to display them instead of keeping them in the cupboard. My daughter will no doubt love to see the detective pikachu jumbo’s displayed.

yes! i love jumbos! and collecting and displaying them. i think they look very epic in any collection, and there is some quite obscure rare japanese promotional tournament and event ones.
I think the weirdest one i read about was there is a jumbo card where you can print a photo of yourself on it at an official pokemon event. I havent seen them come up. and not sure if psa would grade that, but yeah. some random stuff.

---- ** also need to note, psa is dam strict on jumbos… extremely harsh as well, they are big ass cards which succumb to added abrasion easier. so i suggest to pop some fresh boxes before grading them bad boys.

My OCD doesn’t have room for oversized cards. Just a reason to buy more of them!
I can’t speak to the JP cards, but has anyone noticed they changed the jumbo card size in the latest EN collection box (VMAX Meowth one). The new card is 13.5 cm x 19 cm (~5.3" x 7.5"). Here’s a size comparison with the previous jumbo:
Interstingly enough though, the Zamazenta/Zacian jumbos from the Galar collection boxes match the previous sizes. Not sure if this is a one-off, but I’d imagine the new size fits nicely in a 6" x 8" sleeve/toploader which would be a welcome change IMO.
God damn, I hate that so much. The quality of jumbo cards got so much better in the past years and the texturing was awesome. I’m planning to frame my favorite GXs. Which is also the only thing I can think of to do with my jumbos, since I don’t want to grade them and keep them otherwise stashed in a drawer.
Jumbo cards are some of my favorite cards in my collection. I know many don’t collect them, so I am able to find some excellent deals through Ebay. And, they add some uniqueness to my collection.
I like framing them, they make a good quality piece of art. Always wanted the shadow Lugia Jumbo.
