Given how valuable the 1st edition English Charizard and Shadowless Charizard are nowadays, and not only because of their very recent increase, it made me wonder what would happen to other Charizards.
What do you think will happen to Japanese, English unlimited and foreign 1st edition and unlimited Charizards?
Is it completely crazy to think that foreign Charizards in PSA 10 will start to hit $10K one day in the future? Even if that is only in 10 years?
I have many Jpn, Dutch, and French which I donāt like especially Jpn, but Iām really keeping my eyes open for Spanish 1st, Italian 1st, German 1st, and Chinese 1st. Those are the 4 I believe will zoom up in price.
Iāve been selling Foreign base since they came out. My mailing list has stayed active to all. I know what the trends have showed me. Call it Caveman Algorithms. Lol. Country participation really does mean something especially in its influence on long term valuation. You mentioned Korean and Portuguese. You could count on one hand the customers/traders Iāve had from those countries.
The Korean is too limited anyway as a result of a cargo ship going down enroute. Itās hard to build mass interest and appeal around something as limited as Koreanā¦especially unlimited.
Now could I be wrong about any of those. Sure. But you have to go by something and my record is rather good.
I just get zero calls for anything from the Japanese base sets. Maybe itās because theyāve gone though several spikes already? Maybe itās. Ecause they grade so much easier than every other countries Base sets combined? Not really sure, but Iād be shocked (and very rich) if their Charizardās shot up anything like what the English have.
Ah, now I understand! You mean you donāt really care for the card from an investment standpoint ā not an artistic one. Thanks for clarifying for me
I think the existing PSA 9 Korean Unlimited Charizard would have got very high offers if not closing in on 10k at the time. Also for an avid Charizard collector you can get all the languages both 1st edition and unlimited with ease except Korean unlimited and for the person who needs it all, Korean unl. seems the best bet going forward given current supply.
This obviously depends heavily on supply so if James Cameron went down in the depths and recovered all those Korean unl. cards it might be a different story lol.
