Agree, there are some cards I have been holding out on but it’s a great buyers market right now for WOTC, especially on auctions or best offers. Might have to dive in.
This card would be dream card in my dream grade
It’s been my white whale for a while.
Ashamed to admit I have a lot of nostolgia for base Charizard. How basic of me
It’s the bestest
I finally pulled the trigger on my dream card (one of them anyway) back in December. It was one I honestly thought I’d never own until older WOTC card prices started to go down recently. I was afraid I’d end up with buyers remorse but not only has that not happened, I find myself pulling the card out all the time and just staring at it
As I’ve gotten older I’ve learned it’s important to treat yourself once in a while (as long as you’re doing it responsibly of course). Good luck, hope you get it!!
Edit to add - back on the subject I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with PWCC over the years. You don’t have anything to worry about.
Crazy sale a few weeks ago. To give perspective, most 7ED Foil Birds of Paradise sell for $2,000-$4,000 in mint condition. The BGS 9.5 premium is huge in MTG, but this is insane.

Just wanted to add a note here about PWCC’s dropshipping fee.
They will add $5 to fulfillment requests where the new address doesn’t match the primary address. If you’re planning to sell cards from PWCC, remember to add the $5 dropshipping fee when you calculate your potential profit/loss.
Has this fee always been there or is it new?
Curious what the 10 will go for. These are also the last solds of a psa 10. Only about 57 have graded in a 10
Premier auctions is featuring
- PSA 10 1st edition base set charizard
- PSA 10 shadowless base set charizard
- 1st edition base set booster box
- Shadowless base set booster box
Obviously other items available but really curious to see where these four end up
54k, final answer
Cumulative.
Pwcc doesn’t have a saved search feature like on eBay correct? Like getting alerts when a certain card is listed etc?
Got an email
PWCC Marketplace is committed to providing a vibrant and dynamic platform for collectors to buy, sell, and discover exceptional trading cards. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance your experience, we’re implementing a new listing management strategy for our Fixed Price Marketplace.
Effective Monday, May 20th:
Listings that have been inactive (not sold) for more than 60 days will be automatically delisted from the Fixed Price Marketplace.
You, the seller, will have the flexibility to relist the item at any time.
Why this benefits you:
- Fresher Inventory: This initiative ensures a more curated selection of actively traded items, making it easier for buyers to find the cards they’re seeking.
- Increased Visibility: By removing inactive listings, your active listings will gain greater visibility within the marketplace, potentially attracting more buyer interest.
- Pricing Optimization: A 60-day delisting provides an opportunity to re-evaluate your asking price and potentially improve your chances of a successful sale.
We believe this change will foster a more dynamic and successful marketplace for all participants.
Not that I am aware of; I basically just copy/paste all of my ebay saved searches for every new auction block (and periodically in the fixed price listings) to see if the cards I am looking for pop up. It is worth doing some modified searching on PWCC though because every now and again card titles will surprisingly be missing key words that describe the item.
Pwcc: Stop listing your PSA 9 Caterpies at $20,000, k thanks
I’m torn on it. On one hand the pwcc marketplace is crowded with overpriced stuff. On the other hand, some of it is mine.
Really, the primary problem is their ineffectual platform. How many years has it been and still no saved search??? No messaging system?
I’ve never enjoyed PWCC’s Fixed Marketplace because it’s full of junk slabs and overpriced cards. Hoping that this cleans up their listed inventory.
I think this is a good step in a better direction on their part
I’m hopeful of the same but I’m not convinced it will do that much; if someone sees their cards are de-listed they can just automatically re-list them. I have a feeling the people with 2 year old listings don’t necessarily care about updating their inflated listing prices.
Yep, no saved search is outrageous. I could see the unlisting being a problem for someone like you with hundreds of cards. Let’s see how fixed looks next month
