It is really cool to finally see a video of the Shining Mew without the glitter. I’ve heard of it but have never seen one before via video so thanks for sharing. However the video that the seller sent you is a different copy, I don’t think the glitter can be hand removed so it’s just surprising that he has at least 2 copies of this variant
Yeah he could be getting ready to release another copy or keep one. Who knows
Where are all of these Shining Steelix coming from? 7 more PSA 10 1st Ed copies for sale tonight on PWCC.
I was thinking the exact same thing! Feel a bit bad for the sellers if this drops the final sale price.
I know I’m very late to the party, but I am only now catching up on everything.
I noticed a lot of speculation about a potential PWCC ‘vault run’. I’m sure we can agree, it’s a fascinating yet terrifying topic to discuss.
In any case, I thought this blog post from Snowman perfectly sums up the situation:
Unless you have an outstanding loan against any cards in your portfolio, the worst-case scenario would be that you get your cards back. I don’t see any reason (but correct me if I’m wrong) that they would have the right to sell slabs that do not belong to them (provided you kept all the information, proving a card is yours should not be too difficult). However, I assume PWCC makes money from using assets in their vault as collateral to have access to more funds, so I do wonder what happens if specific high-value items are put up for funding while they don’t own those items. (Would that be legal?)
All of this aside, now that PWCC will be merging with Fanatics, I don’t see any bankruptcy on the horizon yet. (Let’s hope they won’t be firing many others over Zoom in the meantime…)
I think there was a moment in time, last year where they had to let go staff and there was a lot of commotion with cards crashing. I think fufillments took close to 3 weeks and it was just plain slow. I don’t think PWCC would be in any dire money situation in the near future, as their platform, with the auctions is probably very profitable, and their fixed price is just hand over fist making extra money for them. With the merger of Fanatics it’s probably cash rich and since they only lend like 30% value or something like that, I don’t see people defualting on their loans anytimes soon.
Is it just me, or is the sales history section of the site impossible to find now? Appears they reworked their menu bar and removed the sales history link?
It’s under Research in the footer still but yeah I think they must be working on the menu bar as we speak cause vault and faq links also gone. My guess it’ll be back up soon
I had that same problem on mobile. I just searched for it on google and it came up, they are constantly messing with their website.
Possibly the worst PSA 10 ever graded for sale on PWCC.
It’s always the same culprit. Japanese ex era has so many misgrades.
Dumb question but is there a way to save search on PWCC? Looked all over and couldn’t find anything. Don’t use the platform, but trying to more regularly.
I think this is a feature in production mentioned a while ago but not there. If you want you can just copy and paste some of their titles so that you can plug and play when it’s weekly announced
Yikes! That back is a sight to see. Clearly the cards in the 20 mil range was either less strict in grading or the grader was extra lazy that day and just let it slip by
Mods please ban this blasphemy
PSA has never and will never edit their scale or implementation
Truly. I consistently see misgraded Japanese EX-era 10s.
I’m sorry what?
this is actually a thing @pokecollectoramy @Charizard1020
This is absolutely wild. You really do learn something new about Pokémon here in efour all the time
