Yes I know I know, vintage is still way up from its pre-2020 prices… However, maybe the majority of collectors that have money just don’t give a rats ass about it anymore? Seeing it with vintage cards (both English and Japanese) across every era pre-2010.
Same price as the last one from July on heritage. Seems fair!
This particular copy carried some level of drama due to it being shilled several months earlier.
Personally, I think this card belongs around the low $20,000s. Lower grade copies have been overpriced in my opinion, but that tends to happen when the mint condition copy costs so much more.
I’d be curious to see how many high condition unikarps have been graded in the last few years. Majority that have recently appear were played-mid condition. The pop report has a lot of copies graded 1-6, almost with 10 authentic only, which would be in that 1-6 grade range.
Ooh where did you get this data?
Wasn’t this project discontinued some months ago? At least I got that message from the developer
Looks like you are correct.
This week’s update will be the last
I started collecting data from PSA’s pop report back in October 2019 to provide weird and wonderful grade statistics on a questionably-managed forum that I’m no longer associated with. Back then PSA had graded fewer than 1 million Pokémon and CGC didn’t grade cards at all.
9 months later in July 2020, I gathered the data I’d been collecting on a weekly basis and launched the original PokéMetrics website: a free tool that anyone could use to quickly access Pokémon PSA data without having to navigate PSA’s often-confusing pop report.
With costs over $100 per month, last April I launched PokéMetrics EX as a way to both expose a lot more data and to recuperate some of the money I’d been putting into the project. Unfortunately interest in PokéMetrics EX wasn’t as high as I’d hoped it would be, and my motivation for working on the project diminished. I was no longer doing this for fun to share some data with the community, it felt like a chore.
Every Wednesday for the past 3 and a half years I’ve sat down at my computer, ran a script to fetch PSA’s (and now CGC’s) pop report data, waited for that to finish, then ran another script to collate, normalize and publish this data to everyone.
Just this week PSA surpassed 8,000,000 Pokémon graded. With every week that passes, it takes more and more time and computing power to process the vast amount of data PokéMetrics takes to operate.
I’ve sold off the majority of my graded Pokémon collection in the past few months, and a couple of you have asked why I continue to run PokéMetrics. The honest answer to this is that it’s a bit of a habit at this point - I’ve been doing this for a very long time, and it’s just a weekly routine of mine. But it’s not something I enjoy doing any more, and it’s something that I stress about every Tuesday evening or when I know I’m unable to be at my computer on a Wednesday.
Not only that, but it now costs a lot more to run. Introducing PokéMetrics EX added an additional $200 per month to the running costs, and even with $99 per month support from those of you who are supporters of the project, I’ve invested more money than I’d ever wanted into this project.
I was going to make this post about how I’m going to gradually stop collecting and sharing the data, but I think the best thing I can do for myself is to just call it quits today.
PokéMetrics will remain live and operational for the next month or two, but no new data will be added beyond today. In an effort to no longer have to pay for the PokéMetrics services to be operational, some time in the next couple of months I’ll switch off the database and server that runs both PokéMetrics and PokéMetrics EX.
I realise this isn’t the update a lot of you will have wanted to see - especially those of you who have supported the project - but I’ve reached the end of my journey with PokéMetrics and with graded Pokémon cards in general, and it’s time for me to move on.
Thank you to everyone who supported PokéMetrics, it’s been a fun adventure, and thank you for reading.

Someday I hope to understand the story behind this
I’m willing to answer in DM. Otherwise, this thread should stay on the topic of PWCC
Anyone else dealing with delivered packages taking a while to be marked as received? My package was marked as delivered by usps to the vault. However the tracking shows that the zip is 97223 instead of 97224 even though the address is the same. Judging by my past submissions the zip doesn’t really matter as the cards are marked recieved regardless by pwcc. The problem is that recently all of the cards I sent that had tracking that showed it was delivered to 97224 has been marked as received within a few days while the ones with 97223 zip code have not been marked for a while. Its been almost two weeks and its starting to worry me a bit. Any reassurance would be much appreciated ![]()
Not sure if it’s related, but I’ve had a heck of a time in the past month with USPS tracking and any packages I’ve sent to the west coast and beyond (including Hawaii and Alaska). Buyers are leaving me positive feedback indicating they’ve received the product, meanwhile the tracking still shows in progress. I kid you not, a few days after I received feedback USPS indicated the package was moving again, and it still went through all the steps over the next week until they marked it delivered, a full 10 days after the buyer indicated they received it.
I currently have a package out to Alaska which last had a valid check in on Sept. 14th when it departed Seattle. Everything since then has been the generic USPS BS that says “In transit to Next facility” with a timestamp of 12:00AM.
All my other packages I’ve shipped to the midwest and east coast have had no trouble tracking, but the 8 or so I’ve sent west coast in the last month have all had tracking issues.
I am in the exact same situation since 10 days, my tracking appears as delivered to the same zip code and the PWCC Address so I think it should be just a delay
Is there a way / is there a tool to get email notifications from new pwcc listings from search terms? Both weekly and fixed priced listings (like eBay or buyee for example)
Thanks!
I was just thinking about this same feature this morning when I was searching their site!
