I feel heritage etc are better platforms than those on eBay as they have more restrictions than eBay on who can bid.

I’m well aware of the irony of me saying its tiring seeing these prices increases, and then also commentating on them. But anyway
Greninja has gone up 50% or more (low-mid 20s to mid-high 30s) in 24hrs

For occasional sellers like many of us, there’s really no point in going through Heritage, PWCC, etc., when it’s much cheaper and you can reach more buyers through Z&G or other platforms

The people buying them sealed at peak prices are in for a bad time! I bought a fair few of these on release (not an Admiral-level amount, but still) and honestly there’s maybe 1 or at most 2 in the whole lot that could grade a 10. Absolutely not worth this new meme 10 premium, but still a tough grade. This got me looking at prices of other random stuff and it’s scary to see how much things like Celebrations, Hidden Fates and other pre-and-mid covid era products have accelerated upwards out of nowhere. I’d dare to say it feels even worse than peak covid price drama…

Yep, theyre going to get smoked. Although even psa 9s have risen to a price where they will make money.
I also didnt buy Admiral tier greninja stocks, but i have 75 sealed. My last submission contained 4 of my best. They all got 8s

i stopped subbing this type of stuff when i subbed a meowth that was pulled from a brand new gb trading card game (i didnt open it but the guy i got it from open it and never used anything) and it got an 8 and im like screeew this

I feel that! English card stock, especially promos in peripheral products like collection boxes, has been so bad for so long. On the one hand, the frustration of trying to grade a 10 with something like a GS Greninja is reflected in the premium over the 9 (11% overall 10 rate or 18% rate vs grading a 9), but the sheer extent of that premium has just become crazy. It’s always a red flag to me when markets display irrational levels of demand for not-at-all-rare cards like this.
