According to my middleman they are working on a June/July 30 day submission for them.
All the cards are graded for both submissions but Beckett haven’t inputted them into the database/pop report.
Which is a little funny being half the time they forget or don’t even bother to add some cards to the population report.
I have four personal collection cards in the July submission which I have been missing and can’t wait to have back home.
I am guessing 20 day submissions might be further along? August or September 2020 possibly?
Are the PSA complete through dates totally off? I have cards that were submitted Bulk and received 7/30/21 - entered grading phase in mid January but no movement since - assuming that a lot of other people are in a similar boat.
“ Orders that require special handling, have payment or shipping issues may be exceptions to the published Complete Through Dates. If you are waiting for an order that is an exception to the current CTD and you don’t know why, please contact PSA customer service.”
If they were received 7/30/20 (I assume your date of 2021 was a typo) then I would contact PSA and find out what the delay is.
I have a 1st edition Pichu that is Gem Mint besides having 2 extremely faint print lines. They don’t detract from the overall aesthetics of the card in my opinion as you have to look very closely and search hard to detect the lines. I know this will get a 9, and I will be happy with a 9, but has anyone ever had similar cards surprisingly get awarded PSA 10s?
PSA seems to really be tackling the influx of orders from the beginning of March right now. Out of 9 of my orders received 3/1-3/4 5 of them have been entered into the system in the last week. I think they are sorting out the bulk and entering them into the system. Once everything has been entered, we should see a focus on grading phase and pushing orders out the door. I would imagine within the next couple of weeks we should see a significant and constant change in CTD’s.
If it was done through a middleman (Ludkins or Graded Gem) those CTD do not apply to your order. If it was submitted directly, then their dates listed are by when they were entered into the PSA system, not the dates in which they arrived at PSA.
Yes. They received my Super Express last Friday 4/9 and it is currently in the grading process today 4/12. I think Super Express services are going faster post-shutdown.

The PSA 10’s from the 2 mil cert club are so sus. They always look like strong 8’s. I wonder if there’s going to be a distinction in price and collectability of these 10’s vs PSA 10’s from the 4 mil+ cert club. Having a PSA 10 set that are 4mil+ is more impressive than PSA 10 set of 2mil certs. And it’s looking like getting PSA 10’s from 5 mil is even harder so I wonder if the market will recognize that.
Majority of PSA 10’s from the 2xxx certs are solid 10’s. Whether or not there are less weaker 10s in the 5xxx certs is a different story, but 10s will always carry their premium regardless of cert number. Just pay attention to the cards youre buying.
Total nonsense. PSA’s grading standards haven’t changed and if anything the introduction of upcharges gives them a lot more incentive to incorrectly grade a card up so that they can make more money; on top of that the sheer volume of cards being submitted to PSA also gives them more of an incentive to rush the grading process now just to get things out the door.
The argument against 2xx certs originated from sellers with newly-introduced 4xx cert cards in a market where supply was high. How do I get my 4xx cert card to sell when there are 10 other identical-grade 2xx certs cards on the market? I know, I’ll go around telling everyone that 2xx certs are trash PSA 8s graded as PSA 10s.
Do grading companies get it wrong sometimes? Yes. Does this only affect PSA? Not at all. Do grading companies get it wrong most of the time? No.
As a buyer: make sure to always look over the card you’re buying before putting down any money. This applies to 2xx certs just as much as it applies to 4xx and 5xx certs just as much as it applies to BGS black labels.
As someone who has been analysing PSA’s pop report on a weekly basis for a couple of years now I can tell you there’s no evidence that PSA are any more strict now than they were 2 years ago. The PSA 10 to PSA 9 ratio is pretty much the same as it was back when 2xx certs were being graded.
As a PSA pop report update: PSA have graded at least* 16,200 Pokémon cards in the past week, of which 4,710 received PSA 10 grades and 6,068 received PSA 9 grades.
Interestingly PSA have now graded 1.61 million Pokémon cards, so despite being a few thousand lower than last week 16,200 is just over 1% of all the Pokémon cards PSA have ever seen.
The top 3 cards and top 3 sets are the same as they have been for the past few weeks, so I’m not going to keep repeating that.

* As mentioned previously, their search index has been broken for a few months now and does not include some of the sets. I’m having to hardcode both the 2021 McDonald’s set and the Shining Fates set as neither appear currently when searching for “pokemon”. This means there will be some sets I’m unaware of, making the total numbers very likely higher than what I’ve noted above.
