I have 3 subs that were delivered 10/15. All 3 are still in research and id. Took 3 weeks to even get into research and id.
There is speculation that the GameStop submissions are being given priority. I don’t know if that’s true or just anecdotal. At a minimum though they likely experienced a jump in submissions when GameStop started their program which could help explain the delay
This is such a huge change in TAT that I can’t believe its been caused by a 20-25% increase in submissions

I don’t think minimum grade is available for raw cards, it a crossover thing. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong on that.
As for upcharges, the lower it grades the less likely it is to get hit. I usually just submit at bulk level and see what happens. If you’re thinking 10 or bust on the card I would just thoroughly look it over and make sure it has a strong chance.
Yea I know typically don’t worry about up charge if not a 10 but I saw z&g posted an 8 graded moonbreon just got a $75 upcharge. So PSA must be very aware now of this card value even regardless of 10. Main question is if it were to get that 8/9 could I just say don’t encapsulate and refuse to pay upcharge?
To my knowledge upcharges usually come after the card is graded. Again, someone can correct me if I’m wrong on that. It has been a significant amount of time since I personally have dealt with upcharges.
Yeah upcharges come after grading. I’m finding that it is still super inconsistent, even for the same card. My last 4-5 submissions have all had PSA 8 base set Charizards in them, yet only 2 have resulted in up charges for the card (submitted at bulk $200 valuation).
Has anyone ever done PSA on site drop off? Did you need to indicate that it is a drop off when creating the submission? A brief synopsis of anyone’s experience would be super helpful!
Does anyone know how long BGS Bulk subs are taking? It say’s 45+ business days, just like PSA, but does it really take that long?
