I was going to say the same thing. I don’t think each individual grade is the independent event you want to test. The better way to test CA vs NJ, in my mind, is what @pfm said: treat each submission as an independent event. And if we do so, you’ll see that you probably won’t have sufficient power to really make any claims of differences between the two sites, especially not with all the other variables that may be present.
You can only really tell based on where the package is shipped back from. Everyone ships to the same place in CA and then PSA distribute packages to NJ from there.

Just got an email for $13 Pokémon Card grading. They’ve had back to back to back TCG “specials” for what feels like several months basically in a row at $14. I wonder if they’re not seeing the level of submissions they’re wanting/expecting to see at $14.

Id say it’s pretty clear that all the companies are not seeing the growth they are hoping for.
PSA giving out that $100 coupon in July, the continuous new submitter $25 coupon, the bulk specials, the discount on collectors club for kobes bday…I would say speaks to demand having peaked earlier this year.

Nevermind! I was just in the process of starting a parcelhero shipment and decided to check my fedex tracking of the last submission I sent.
I guess they just use a forwarding service or something? Interesting…

Very exciting for me as it marks the first time in four years (since I moved away from middlemen) that I’ve been able to grade at under £10 per card

I don’t know if the grading is good or bad, but I was hoping for 10 on all.
Will crack and send inn the card with 9 to Santa Ana, and see if i there will get 10.
But what if it’s a 9 for real
GL. Hard to not get Lorcana cards to gem, especially these.
Then i will get 9 and that i will asume is fair then.
I’d take a look at it and resub if it looks good. I’ve cracked a few PSA 9s that turned to 10’s for Lorcana enchanted.
But it was already graded a 9? Why don’t we trust PSAs initial opinion
Everybody knows it takes 2-3 tires to get a real opinion. Can’t expect them to get it right first try
