Bound to be a couple of creases that were hard to pick up on the scans.
Agree with Dyl, scans donāt always pick up everything. Looks like maybe a couple creases on righthand side?
Specifically asking about EX Ruby & Sapphire
Might be the wrong thread to ask this, but is there a reason why PSA grades English, French and Italian but does not allow people to submit German, Portuguese and Spanish variants of this set?
Also, would there be a chance that they start accepting these languages in the future?
Thank you for this! I must have been looking in the wrong places.
I have a 1st Ed Chansey here that has printing errors (about five of these small yellow dots, see picture). It was graded a PSA 8. As for centering, corners and edges, the card is pretty flawless. Any idea whether BGS or CGC would be less harsh on printing errors like these? And for the record: I only spotted the dots only after looking at the card for quite some time; they are very small.
Very very likely those dots are NOT the reason your card got an 8
Thanks, the holo has a few printlines but no scratches or other surface wear.
Is that a new font on PSA slabs ?
Would be good to hear about other UK collectors - my stack of cards ready for PSA has been accumulating since PSA closed down ( 2+ years?) - The pricing since the $50 dollar tier is obviously now much more competitive at the $15 dollar tier but i still think its pretty pricey to submit directly to PSA given the postage costs, potential hastle with import duties (good to hear about other UK submitters).
I have alot of cards that arent that valuable raw, i.e Harry Potter i would love to get slabbed, but the cost of grading them would be the same/double the cost of the card raw which is a shame, i dont see any solid middleman coming up anytime soon neither.
Looking back at the pricing, it was dirt cheap in the covid boom times given the pricing was probably circa $11-$12 all in including all fees, shipping costs, barely got value charged.
Just find it hard to justify even with todays pricing ( even with NM WOTC 1st edition holos.)
Iām in a similar postion where i have alot of cards i want to send but im still weighing up if theyāre worth sending. Whilst some cards wouldnāt justify the cost for my collection i was thinking about sending more to sell to offset the cost but the upcharges combined with the current prices could end up not actually achieving enough of a profit to do so.
I think itās tighter letter spacing. Itās quite ugly and looks really out of place compared to older labels. But labels like this one probably necessitate itā¦
Also noticed that my latest sub shipped from NJ. Arrived a few days ahead of schedule since Iām also East Coast, much faster than from California.
I just submitted to CGC for my first time and when clicking on Grading/Quality Control under Status it takes me directly to a tracking number. My question is are the cards graded and being sent back to me without the database being updated as I still donāt see my grades when clicking on Submission #?
I wonder if we will see a PSA TCG grading special this month?
Doubtful for this month, but Iād bet June/July they might do something for the National
Hi all,
Just curious to understand regarding PSA grading for WOTC Holos,
My understanding of Jungle holos for example is there are many PSA 10s that have quite bad silvering etc - but there is an allowance/flexibility for the fact almost all holos suffered from bad factory cutting. Is this a correct assumption to make?
If so - why then are say Neo sets ( such as neo revelation) - not given similiar allowances where you see many cards not achieve PSA 10s? Just saying this as i have pretty much pack fresh Holos but all seem to suffer from white dots/bad centering/same for printlines.
Another example such as say Mistys golduck - the PSA 9s look much better then say jungle psa 10s but grading seems to be very strict?
Apologies if thats a confusing question - just trying to understand the variances in grading by set/eras, when pre-grading im trying to find some consistency to have a baseline to assess cards on.
thanks
Hello everyone! I would like to ask you if itās possible to ship to PSA using UPS, I already saw on their website that only USPS and Fedex are accepted but UPS is the best option to ship overseas ( I am from Europe) and allows me to insure over 10k ā¬
Thanks
About to put together my first PSA submission, and Iāve read that some people have had submissions rejected because theyād re-used an old box - seems that PSA was afraid it was tampered.
Most of my cardboard boxes are used (at least slightly creased), and Iām afraid of running into the same issue.
I do have this cake box, which is made of sturdy cardboard and is just the right size. Does anyone know if something like this works, or if PSA will insist that you use a run-of-the-mill cardboard box?
