right on. i wouldn’t be surprised tbh. seems like generic sugimori art copy/pasted, but then again, so are a lot of official cards lmao
yeah, but you would see a more organized design and more wording. Also for me, a high card number (284) is usually a red flag.
So I actually found the set, They are called “The Pokemon Kids” instead of “Pokemon Kids” which is the more known set. I can see how that “The” word difference can make it much harder to search for. So actually the gold box is series 1 (2001) and the orange box is series 2 (2002). What I still haven´t confirmed or seen is the full seal collection and the variations in foil.
Thought the same.
There are a lot of variant with the tag “Pokémon japanese vending stickers”. Even “regular tcg cards” made in sticker-version like the bandai sealdass with a similar holofoil of the one posted above.
But informations on those are kept in the darkness where these products belong.
Sorry for double-posting, but now it’s time to ask:
“Pokemon Bath Menko Waterproof Japanese”
this is what comes out searching these keywords.
So far I know there are 3 sets from 2001, 2004 and 2005. Made by Bandai. And I’m kind of sure this is not the actual name of these cards.
Any more infos?

Using a VPN and setting your location elsewhere does the trick, that’s what i’m doing
I use the auction id and put it in a browser with buyee, than buyee can open the auction. I dont have a vpn so that works for me:)
what is a good and safe VPN I can use?
Although it’s also possible to set up a VPN locally, I personally use hidemyass.com with one of the two US servers to access Yahoo Japan. If you search ‘proxy website’ on google, there are thousands of similar websites available.
If I then want to access a specific auction or buy something, I also use Buyee like @thymeee mentioned above. But for browsing/searching on YJ in general, hidemyass is enough for me.

“True fans who could prove they hadn’t skipped any of Strongest Milotic, Dragonite or Salamence were eligible for an additional, ultra-cool present… You guessed it, the “glitter card” that pika-025 had caught wind of weeks before. Featuring all three Saikyou in an entwined, lunging pose, it was simply gorgeous, one of the most beautiful Pokémon artworks I’ve seen. Boy do I want one. Players could grab themselves three copies through March 31, 2008.”
Looks like some sort of promotional card from Pokemon Center. These are almost always from Japan. The promos / prizes are usually stickers, so it’s odd to see a card. But not unheard of, they just aren’t as common as stickers.
Edit: @c0ll3ct0r beat me to it! Great find. Looks like a rare promo!
Wow thats a great article. Good find. Now to buy the card
Thanks for the help!!
That is a great article. I will have to read it more carefully, but I am already excited
