To add more info, it’s from topps first movie set, it comes in regular non holo, silver foil and rainbow foils but also as die cut card. From the other cards, i think the one left from topps card is a fake, others might be too but can’t tell for sure. Difficult to recognise some of the early japanese sets

Can anyone help identify these cards? The white ones.

The only other picture I can find online is an eBay listing claiming they’re from KFC, but the KFC cards are different and don’t have the stats on the back. The seller also admitted in DM that they aren’t sure where it’s from.

Butterfree’s learnset is from Yellow (it learns the powder moves earlier in Red and Blue), so I’m thinking they have to be from around 1999-2000.

u/isthatryanneg on reddit made a post asking where they were from, and it seems no one can find anything about them.

Hello again! These are also from Bandai Kids, 2001. These came in orange boxes with Pikachu on the cover and had four different variants: silver, gold, plain, and a holofoil type variant. Very cool set and one I am still trying to complete as the variants make it hard to catch 'em all lol.

Wow, do they have a specific name? To make researching easier. And so if Im interested in Mewtwos, there are 4 of these I need?

Wow, I didn’t know bandai made these stickers so back in 2001, I’ve stuck in mind the idea they only made the regular 2 colored background sugimori artwork from gen2 and only later evolved the style.
May I ask you for other pics of these?

I’ll have to check that book I mentioned above to see if there’s an official name. I usually find them under ポケモン シール or ポケモン シール vs. But to answer your 2nd question, there is one that has Mewtwo and yes, there are four variants :smiling_face_with_tear:

Here are two of the four variants so you can see what they look like.

There is also one in the 2nd part of this set, released in 2002 that has a Mewtwo. Luckily, part 2 only had two variants, silver and holo. If you look at this listing, it’s the one with the Lugia.

Yup! The Golden Era of the Bandai Kids cards/stickers was from 1996 - 2002 where they had the Gen 1 and Gen 2 cards, plus the really cool Vs stickers. After that, the stickers got kind of lame imo, but then they started releasing cards again towards the end of ADV and start of the DP era and those were really cool.

I’m not home at the moment, but once I do I can add some pics here.

The VS ones looks a lot like the topsun VS in term of artworks, with 2 Pokémon clashing but not really hitting One another, like the 2 images are put on the same background but without meaning.
It’s fun, It reminds me of neo Genesis heracross with the pinsir horns in a corner

Anyone have any clue about this one? A friend gifted it to me. He had the full set that he bought randomly from ebay a while ago. Front and back are the same. Except one side is a sort of confetti holo

I actually have this one, cant really recognize which variations of the 4 it is from, but until today I thought it was a bootleg. You really know this stuff, are you Japanese o know japanese language? And do you know only about bandai or bandai kids or do you have knowledge on most non-tcg japanese cards? I am trying to make a full detailed guide with all licensed Mewtwo cards, stickers and pogs in the world, but japanese can be hard to find any info from. Do you have any type of guide or maybe a website that has data on most japanese pokemon stuff???

hey, this card is most likely fake/bootleg. No copyright, no brand name or logo, and I have seen many bootlegs with the same holo style and the same on both sides
