Yea this has been going on lately. The scammers seems to have some type of loader that feeds into eBay. 100s of listings of watches bicycles Pokémon…really anything popular but they only accept via PayPal direct. Don’t fall for it guys

Its interesting how so many cards stayed the same price for so long. The Espeon and especially Umbreon were expensive from the jump, but the flareon went under the radar until I heard @uponeagleswings talking about how hard it was to find.
With low pop it only takes a little bit of increased interest to get prices moving.

Exactly. I picked up the card before it became realized luckily lol. But yeah it’s long over due in getting it’s exposure, I could think of like 5 Available from like Jan - Jun 2020 but from July - current Iv seen 2 go for sale on the market at much higher prices. With a 7 recently selling for $5250 that I middle’d I’m very curious to see what the market thinks of this 9 on PWCC.

I don’t think so, but I can’t really remember.
The cheapest I’d seen them even shortly after release was ~$75aud off eBay.
eBay prices were a little higher iirc, probably closer to 60-70usd.

50 and 70 are pretty close buddy lol. I got that number from an old post on this forum where people complained that prices spiked after unlistedleaf made a video about the card. I personally got the card for 120, and I think the new 4000+ price tag is wild.

In Japan markets, they were 3k yen ($30) after a few weeks. Instantly after release, they were probably less

While the E-series border is very nice, the masaki is the original and has a lower pop in PSA 10 if you combine unlimited and 1st edition. The original also suffers from the indents which make the mint copies even more rarer. So yeah, the original should be valued higher imo.

i’m absolutely not saying that the web should be valued higher, i just find it more pleasing to the eye
of course the story behind the original masaki is more compelling. But regardless of all this, this is probably the best gengar artwork imo
