The dedicated signatures were definitely a deterrent. RIP to the buyer of the Lucky Stadium - definitely an ugly 10.

@alleybro Sugimori + Charizard premium. A similar card sold for $17,000 a few years ago. Dubsy is walking away with a huge 2x premium.

12/20/23 - 1998 Japanese CD Promo Charizard Holo - $17,080

I watched a good portion of the auction and the lucky stadium is the only thing that got zero attention in the live. The auctioneer took forever for each lot but that one just came and went lol

Thank you

The psa 9 University Magikarp is also surprisingly low , this was a 20-25k card last year in a psa 9 if I am remembering correctly

Definitely low when a busted up authentic went for $6600…

don’t forget the gold pika from 25th anniversary!!

Two PSA 9s have sold in 2025, both for >$20,000. Definitely a low sale. Heritage doesn’t always do best with niche + expensive trophies. These two were Fanatics Collect and Z&G on eBay.

Pretty good buy for the buyer for sure at 16k then

I had no idea all these were on for auction and I am signed up with Heritage lol

Wonder why the seller used them instead of fanatics or even eBay

I now have more hope I can get a unikarp one day :raising_hands:

The condition of the no 3 pika trophy may have also deterred some bidders:

i am guessing they made some sort of deal to make a dedicated auction and prolly get preferential rates and as part of it HA had to take all those jp/eu/uae ds/3ds games that took up half the auction and arent even worth the min bp

The gyarados did very well considering its condition. Makes the psa 9 look like a steal at 150k.

I was bidding on this when it was at a way lower price, I guess the 10 on the label hiked the price up. Looking at the edges/whitening, it seems so hard to believe this card got a 10, it looks like an 8 at best.

Its condition is the reason that I didn’t bid. I feel bad for the buyer unless they just care about the label.

The condition makes sense. Although I’m in the market for a binder copy and considered bidding, but the biggest deterrent for me was the autograph.

Looks like someone is trying to win next year’s best binder page contest

I would’ve wiped the auto off if I could. Wish they just signed the case if they were going to sell these cards

The autographs on the Pika Trophies were a massive deterrent, so sad to think such incredible cards are forever ruined with these scribbles.

But it’s a huge opportunity to those who have a smaller budget and wish to acquire them. Not sure we’ll see those cards at these prices again..

I think not many collectors are willing to pay that kind of money and having to endure the personalised signature (“To Nido/Fuji”) everytime they admire or show off the cards. I would be interested if the signatures are not personalised.
