I won one! I feel pretty lucky, considering a dozen relatives and friends also entered and none of them won.

Seem a few copies come up for around ¥8,500 - ¥10,000.

I believe this is 2x RRP.

Really considering just buying some now but no idea if will decrease as more become available

It seems most of what will be dropped hasn’t been sent out yet so I definitely see more becoming available later and driving the price down. Granted Im on ebay where the lowest are around 130 USD so if you could get one for 8500 yen, I’d just grab one of those.

How much would you pay for a sealed Japan Post Promo Box and do you think the promos will come to English?

Also, did you know that it is illegal to sell stamps in Japan, that is why all of the ones on mercari jp won’t include the stamps. There are sealed ones on yahoo auctions though.

JP Post stamps are always super cool. Loved the Mario ones they did five or so years ago. I do believe there is a different set of Pokémon Card stamps being sold separately from the box too.

Amazon cancelled my VMAX Climax pre-order. Dafuq? That has never happened to me in 15 years of buying and pre-ordering stuff.

A lot of the pre-orders have been cancelled for VMAX Climax. Guess individual sellers realized price can be upped and relisted due to the high demand. Hard luck my man!

I just got the same apologetic email from amazon.co.jp “[お知らせ] ご注文商品のキャンセルについて”. It was an order that was both “Ships from” and “Sold by” amazon.co.jp directly so I thought I was in the clear but halas! You are not alone. *Edit* Too bad the clause “This item is ineligible for order cancellation after the order is placed.” only works in one direction.

Well, this was bought directly through Amazon, rather than a third-party seller. The official line is they couldn’t get enough stock to fulfill all the orders. Disappointing as usual from the Japanese side of things these days.

I visited the Ikebukuro Pokemon Centre out of curiosity last week. Absolutely nothing except dozens of the family deck which were absolutely flying off the shelves (hmmm not really). They should pulp that boring garbage and print some Eevee Heroes and Fusion Arts instead
