Yes it is english but weirdly it was made in China
One of us should go pump it it to 45 and then see if it goes higher
This will never be paid
I could definitely see some crypto bro buying it for fun
could be the same guy who bought the banana for 6 milly
I doubt they’ll get the return they’re hoping for.
People who frivolously buy ultra-high-end goods don’t sell them for profit. They’re bought to show status or, in this case, own a meme.
That guy is going to have people lined up, begging to tell him how cool he is. Asking to be his friend.
Ended at $87,840

The Pika trophies, Gourgeist, Ray, Birthday Pika, Starters trophy, and Zoroark have been confirmed as paid. This was posted by Pokecolor on Instagram today. Still waiting for that Kyogre to be paid.
A healthy reminder that “paid” doesn’t always translate to a real sale. For example, if these cards were owned by rich patrons of PokeColor, they could have shilled their own auctions and paid for them. The perceived increase in value from the auction would outweigh the % cut that they had to pay the auction house.
I’m not saying that this is what happened, but it’s healthy to keep an open mind on these possibilities
I think this is less likely then the cards just being paid. I sold an art academy card for 32k separately from this auctions. If anything these cards jumping in price are some of the least surprising things happening in the market.
I agree and wouldn’t be shocked that some of these very rare cards are popping off.
I wanted to make a note because, nowadays, there are constant social media posts on paid auction prices, whether referring to eBay, FanaticsCollect, Z&G, PokeColor, etc. And while this should instill confidence in market value most of the time, it can sometimes be used for nefarious purposes by the owners/shillers.
probably likely that its both shilling and the market being the market
