Hypothetically, if Modern alt arts like moonbreon etc had an unexplainable crash where a PSA 10 moonbreon could not sell for $500.

Yes if it is abundantly graded (PSA 9 and lower), not because of any card in modern crashing

for psa 10, basically impossible to have a complete crash. the pops are just way too low and they arent some esoteric thing no one has heard of 
They don’t seem to be too connected. They are definitely somewhat connected but if it was a strong correlation a 2k moonbreon would put the neo discovery at like 50k lol.
So if one crashes it probably doesn’t matter to the other. A lot of people are still all vintage or all modern with their buying

There is currently a price difference between Fusion Strike Booster Box. Sold items on ebay, between Aus and US.
At this point of time $450 AUD posted within the AUS country.
Over $600 AUD dollars posted within the US. $150 price difference.
so im considering collecting an older set I’m thinking pre evolving skies at the earliest any recommendations? ( I prefer pulling cards to buying them)
Do you hate money? It’s always cheaper to buy the singles than open packs. It terms of what sets to collect, that should be a decision you make, not other people online. Collect what you like

yes i hate it, i has pictures of actual people on it not pokemon!!! i will clarify a bit, i want to get a few boosters (like 4 max) to start the collection then i will buy singles
yeah i just want to get an idea of what era people like and then i will look at the sets in them (obviously with boosters i wont be buying base set im not that rich) so xy s&m HGSS ect
What era is nostalgic for you? It doesn’t matter what cards other people like.
Those eras you mentioned - packs are like $20-$100 each. You only get your money back if you pull the top few cards from the set. The value is simply not there to gamble on opening packs
well im a red/blue/yellow era person, i remember waiting outside the local toys r us to get red the day it was released back in 99 (I’m european so we got stuffed with the release date booo (yes I’m still salty about this)) but i definitely do not have the money for base set, i got back into pokemon around x/y so x/y has some good memories as does HGSS
If you insist on opening booster packs, this may not be the set for you…but if you back an extra era there is EX FireRed & LeafGreen. It could be a nice set to collect? All 1st Generation Pokémon and a cool Gengar (assume from your profile pic and name they might be your favourite).

It’s one of a kind ! Low PSA 10 pop, hard to grade. Similar to XY122-XY124 promos and Team magma’s Groudon / Team aqua’s Kyogre. All those cards have the same low pop as many vintage cards, and are very nice. Wonder why they didn’t catch up sooner.

Just surfing through the internet, tons of people are starting to quit collecting due to not being able to buy a single thing at MSRP. Kinda sad to see.
Pokémon Center selling out of the new sets within 15 minutes of dropping.
Crazy how Pokémon always does their banger sets at the back half of a generation. They could spread it out a bit to right size printing to demand
People said the same thing when everyone was frothing at the mouth to get Celebrations, they never do it.
