Some pages earlier I mentioned I might have some interest to do complete PSA 10 1st ed. Gym Challenge holo set but that plan has been discarded for good. Instead of that I´ll be slowly adding various psa cards to my collection that haven’t had place in it before. Majority of additions will be from wotc/e-series/ex-series era but there’s some space for BW/XY once all older cards are acquired.
Picks are based purely on my personal preferences whenever the card has amazing artwork or there’s some nice memory in it. First update includes stuff from Base set/Jungle and all of them came through @garyis2000
All time favourite from Base set, Blastoise.
Venusaur is another great card, darker colors used in 1st ed. shadowless/shadowless version make it look so much nicer compared to unlimited version. This guy gets waaaaayyy less attention than what it deserves.
Gyarados is such a boss, really iconic card. Shadowless version brings nice variety on top of 2x 1st ed. cards.
Moving to Jungle set, Flareon was only real way to go. Amazing looking card that was always nice to pull from booster packs. Not only it is PSA 10 but it’s also No Symbol error version.
Got all missing XY7 SR/UR this morning to finish off another set.
Extra Lugia/Tyranitar for grading besides M Sceptile FA/shiny M Ray I got from my own openings. I like this Lugia a lot more than Plasma Storm version, makes me hope they would make Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres FA too someday.
First of all I’m most happy having a chance to add this guy for Neo Genesis collection, psa 10 1st ed. Skarmory. Total progress now 15/19.
Then I have some Fossil cards to show. Don’t know how everyone else feels but in my childhood this had to be the most hyped set ever during early years of Pokemon. So much good stuff in it. Additions provided by @garyis2000 and ebirdman.
Always liked Aerodactyl attacking towards you fang-filled mouth wide open. Nice background too.
If there’s one word good enough to describe Articuno it would be perfect. Artwork like this proves sometimes less is much more.
Haven’t had a chance to include mint Fossil holos to psa submissions. I had 8x 1st ed. Neo Genesis holos in last big batch and they didn’t do nearly as well I was expecting, only 3x psa 10’s.
Obtaining Skarmory was big thing, one step closer completing dream set.
More favourite cards, skipping Base Set 2 intentionally because it doesn’t bring anything new to the table, just reprints. That means we’re moving to Team Rocket set. Surely people loved this back in the days, new types of Pokemon + set focused on villain team you fight against in games/anime.

Dark Blastoise has always been the coolest card in this set for me, so sinister overall appearance.
Never been too big fan of Dragonite but Team Rocket print always does it’s job, gorgeous. This is also No holo error, kinda funny holo rare card makes it’s way to uncommon sheet + gets mass produced for a while.
For last we have Dark Raichu, hard to dislike first secret rare appearing in english sets.
Awesome adds man! Team rocket is by far my favourite set and the dark raichu is the best looking card in my opinion! Well done mate. Soo close on the neo holos too!
A set based on Kanto gym leaders and their Pokemon? I’m in.
Gym Heroes was welcome addition to tcg family, lovely overall appearance with different badges in lower corner. Only bad thing I can think of this were “common rares” like Brock’s Zubat, pulling those felt even worse than trainers. Additions provided by @ljgenco12 and ebirdman.
Erika’s Dragonair, easily the prettiest card in whole set.
Not too many Scyther cards out there, Jungle print will be most nostalgic one always but I still prefer Rocket’s Scyther over that. Simple yet amazing.

Misty’s Gyarados. This card already makes Gym Challenge epic set in my opinion, one of the nicest Gyarados illustrations there is + I’ve always liked anime episodes where this fellow appears ( Cerulean Blues & Togepi Mirage for example ).
Neo series here we come! I won’t go through Neo Genesis because already doing holo collection for it.
Neo Discovery, nice small set with outstanding looking booster box/packs. 2 specific cards have always caught my attention. Additions provided by xeroryou and @cullers .
Really creative artwork here, Kabutops looks fantastic slashing through water with its scythes. Kinda like the fact they changed energy types between Kabuto/Omanyte evolutions.
One of the best things Neo era ever had. Hard to create better card for dark themed Pokemon like Umbreon, moon that makes Umbreon’s rings glow + all the holo spots on background look like million stars.
That Kabutops has always intrigued me, it looks like it has amazing and wicked hunting skill.That Umbreon is such a beautiful card all together. Pure doneness! Nice additions.
