Ah… that makes more sense. It looks like the feature is taking the current date minus the prior post date rather than the date of the new post itself to calculate the number of years.

It’s likely because their only post before 2024 was deleted so they 1) do have a previous post but 2) it can’t be found. So it might just calculate back to their join date.

I change my avatar more often than others, so perhaps it’s only me, but has anyone noticed that their avatar on posts does not change while it changes everywhere else? I changed mine back to my OG about a week ago… I still see my arita meowth on all posts, new or old… NBD, but it IS a bug.

I see the steelix on my end. Perhaps its a cache/cookies situation? Does it show that its changed when in incognito?

Not sure if it’s just me but lately it takes the site a long time to load any channels/DMs. Sometimes it won’t load at all for me and I have to refresh my browser for them to pop up.

Are you referring to the specifically the chat or private messages through the forum? If it’s just through chat I notice that as well. Honestly the chat system has always felt rudimentary.
Chat and the private messaging (chat like) functions.
The DM (mail) function works fine.
It’s not just you. It takes a few minutes to load each time I open the app/page
I don’t get notifications on mobile unless the “app” is already open
I do have to do a big update soon, it’s been a while. I think the chat has had a lot of development. there’s a few things blocking me from updating. when I have a couple days free it is something I’m planning to do

messages in the sidebar have started loading more slowly than usual. Anyone else noticing this? Takes about a 1 minute to load in and sometimes they don’t load and I have to refresh. firefox windows 11

This has been happening to me for days now

I am still getting this issue and it’s been happening for weeks.
If you look at my sidebar, chats aren’t displaying. Clicking on the chat icon in the top right corner just makes the page hang. Occasionally it will “fix itself” and allow me to access chats/dms but it’s not consistent.
Only way I can access chats is to go to “chat notifications” if someone has tagged me.

Still doesn’t seem to be loading or displaying chats for me. Occasionally they will after a lot of refreshes.
