The unattractive male name “Keith” is of Scottish origin, likely linked to the Celtic word ‘cait’, meaning “wood” or “forest”. There is also speculation that it may have Gaelic roots, deriving from ‘cath’ , meaning “battle,” or ‘ceiteach’, meaning “wood” or “windy place”.

For a LOT of us, the music of the games defines a generation and time in our lives. As a lightly trained musician, I was aware of some of this, but some is also new to me.
For example, did you know that the percussion sound on the 8 adn16 bit systems was created by making high frequency noise, instead of defined high hats, symbols, etc? A lot of the audio on old systems was influenced by the hardware limitations, but… then there’s this absurdity that was Silph Co…

Further, I think that as a history buff and arts educator, I find that good multi-media presentations teach much better than just text on a page, so here ya’ go! I love the start of this, but also the references to classical, blues, and folk music in the original pokemon games.

Enjoy!

When you scan short Dot Code of Machamp (New York Press Conference 2002) using a Western e-Reader and go to the TCG data, you can access to Glossary that doesn’t exist, making the console freeze (this is the only e-Card where this happens)

This is the NYC2002 Machamp btw

I have recorded a video and uploaded to Twitter.
:warning: Contains loud sounds (produced by the console when it freezes) … That’s the reason why I haven’t uploaded the video directly here …
