Although I’m happy that you found the steals, I’m mad that some kid is selling off his father’s investment without fully realizing the value of said items.
Yeah I completely understand. The kid ( who is in his mid 20’s ) informed me he is selling the stuff to pay for student loans. He said he had his fun with most of it when he was a kid, but they just want all of it gone.
It’s also on the son to do due diligence, if he is selling to get a proper deal. Selling 3 of those Charizards for $150 was a rookie move.
Sadly the only thing there that I see as valuable in the eyes of collectors, would be the clock. Everything else, I’ve seen a dozen times over littering sales posts of members of the site I solely moderate on. I hope you got as good of a deal as the person above, the clock will fetch at least a few hundred, so you are set there. Let me ask my friend who bought one recently what she paid and I’ll get back to you with an estimate.
Just implying from OP’s wording on my part. Of course, it could very well be that the seller didn’t sell his stuff for cheap at all and if so then my previous comment would be my mistake entirely.
Yeah, my friend advises me that the clock is worth upwards of $300. I’m sorry I missed that part, was going by the pictures you provided
Sorry that you got a bunch of flea market stuff. I’d say the value of everything if you piece it out could be around $200, but that’s a lot of listing everything, selling piece by piece. As an entirety I would say $50 to the right buyer who wants to flip it.
This thread is reminiscent to when I though I had struck gold with a listing of multiple “1st edition” Charizards on Craig’s list. They were all unlimited
The bandai cards may be worth something but you need to find a buyer. Like I said to offload quick is one thing but to piece it out is another tedious task. Didn’t know people liked those cards, everyone I know tries to offload them cheap. Since they are usually in lots on Y!J
Wtf…whoever says that lot for $50 is smoking something, I think those items (if all sealed) are awesome! I love the ANA cards still in the envelopes too!
